The Man From Snowy River Cottage

The cottage that was featured in the movie “The Man from Snowy River” is known as Craig’s Hut. It is a rustic, mountain-top cabin located in the Victorian Alps near Mt. Stirling, about 200 kilometres from Jindabyne.

The hut was originally built as a set for the movie, and was meant to be temporary, but it was so popular with visitors that it was rebuilt as a permanent structure.

Today, visitors can hike or ride horseback to the hut, and there are several tour companies that offer guided trips to the area. The hut provides stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is a popular spot for photography. It is also used as a base camp for hikers, skiers, and other outdoor enthusiasts.
